RENT PAYMENT UPDATE - June 2020

We hope you and your family have remained healthy and safe during these trying times. We thank all our residents that have paid rent on time as per their lease agreement.

To extend additional financial help to our valued residents that are experiencing continued financial difficulty, we have extended a program of Emergency Relief. This program is available to residents who are experiencing temporary financial hardship due to a lost job or reduced pay or reduced hours of work on their job, permanently or temporarily, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligibility is contingent upon the following:

1. Proof in the form of a letter from your employer indicating a lost job or reduced pay hours of work.
2. Proof of unemployment application and acceptance.
3. The signing of a “COVID-19-Coronavirus Emergency Relief Addendum for April 2020” as an addendum to your present lease.

The relief is in the form of the waiving of late fees for June 2020 and the ability to establish an approved written payment plan for the rent due in June 2020. All outstanding June Rent and other past rent and fees must be fully paid by June 20, 2020. A “3-Day Reminder Notice” has been issued yesterday by email for any outstanding balances, but NO action will be taken subject to you adhering to an agreed payment plan in a written addendum signed by you and us. After an agreement with Rebecca from our office has been established, the addendum will be prepared. Once the addendum is prepared, it will be available to be viewed and signed directly through your tenant portal.

 

Payments not made by June 20, 2020, 

MAY be subject to Future Late Fees, Eviction, and Collection.

This process is NOT automatic. You must contact Rebecca at the leasing office by email at Rebecca@SymphonyResidential.com to discuss your situation before being approved.

In addition, for those residents that need additional financial help, we have compiled a list of Rental Assistance Programs in the Broward County area. This list of programs is not necessarily all inclusive and the list may or may not be available to you depending on your personal circumstances and depending on the daily changing availability of the program. We have attached the list to this email.
